My personal opinion on god or no god, i personally think "man" feels a little more secure and better with themselves if they think that they are living for a purpose. Why not let your purpose be striving for excellence? Why not let it be hard work and dedication? To answer my own question its because man was brought up to believe in the higher power that only that higher power may judge you. As much as you would like to believe that, it is not true i'm not saying to follow after me for it is your life that you are wasting believing in something that is merely make belief.
